Tony has been an accredited Investors in People adviser since 1993. During that time he has worked with the Institute for Financial Services, Managed Network Services (part of BT now called BTSS), Circa Leisure, a company operating leisure centres across the UK (now part of Leisure Connection), parts of the Department for Education and Skills and, the TUC, where he helped them to develop and implement plans to achieve and retain the standard. Much of this work has formed part of an overall strategy to enable these organisations manage change.
Prior to forming Meta Management Consultants with Anna Beck in 1987, he worked for Sony UK Ltd. For the last five years he managed the Personnel and Training Department where he was responsible for devising and implementing a human resources strategy to support the major changes taking place within the organisation.
Since leaving university with a degree in economics and business studies he has always worked in the human resource field, initially with British Airways and then with Avis rent-a-car before joining Sony.
He is based in London and works throughout the UK.
